invite you to explore the different pages available here and feel free to email or call with any questions
you might have. One purpose of this site is to allow folks to see what the Lord is doing in His church
here at Searcy so they can rejoice with us. Another reason for the site is to provide some information
about Liberty for those looking for a strong local church in Central Arkansas where they might visit
while on vacation or even join the membership and serve with us.

As a youngster in rural North Central Arkansas I was nervous about attending church because of what
might happen there. It scared me a little because I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to do something I was not familiar with already. Fortunately, some very nice Sunday School teachers assured me that I would not be expected to do anything that would be embarrassing. Although I did not accept Christ as Savior then, I learned some lessons that would prove to be valuable in time to come. Later as an adult who had not yet become a Christian, I was hesitant to attend church because I was not certain I would really be welcome there because I was sure my life did not measure up to the Bible. Once again some loving and wise Christians gave me a warm welcome into the church services and opened the way for me to eventually come to Jesus Christ for salvation.

As pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, I encourage our folks to make every effort possible to make visitors welcome. We have some of the choicest servants of God right here in Liberty Baptist Church and they know how to meet your needs from the nursery all the way through the adult programs. You may wonder if it is “safe” to sail into uncharted waters like “church” and I certainly know how you feel. We won’t put you on the spot. Just come and experience “church the way it used to be” and I think you will be happy you did. Our music is Christ-honoring and fervent. The preaching is fired-up, inspiring, instructional, helpful, and unapologetically Bible-centered. The fellowship is warm, witty, and welcoming. Honoring our Savior and His Word is our passion and reaching others with His gospel is our purpose. Visit our website often and come to the live services if you can.
